Pigstock 2017 Information
This year's Pigstock is full of activities for all ages! Baseball games begin Friday night with the beer gardens open to help celebrate a win…or to drown your sorrows. Raffle tickets are available for purchase starting Friday night throughout the weekend for the BIG draw on Sunday - the featured prizes will be on display in the arena all weekend.
The beer gardens open up Thursday night and remain open until our famous Caesar Sunday. A booth providing all kinds of food, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be open all weekend - make sure to try the homemade french fries - they are the best around!
Make sure to pace yourself Friday night because you won't want to miss Saturday night's dance! The dance takes place just next door to the Walkerton arena - all within the same parking lot. There is always a rockin' band with a dance floor inside and all kinds of stand up tables outside for socializing. Dance tickets are available at Joy's Source for Sports in Walkerton. This event usually sells out so make sure to get your ticket early.
Caesar Sunday is packed full of happening events. First, the caesars are famous and a must try (they are known to help cure a hangover too). Second, the semi-final and final games are played throughout the day with the Boar's final game played right beside the beer gardens in the early afternoon. Keep an eye out for baseballs; home-run hits are known to make an appearance in the beer gardens from time to time. Third, kids can enjoy the treat bags handed out my Mr. and Ms. Pig while they sit and watch the children's show that features clowns, balloons, unicycles and all kinds of fun stuff! Lastly, we wrap up the day with our raffle draw featuring tonnes of great prizes.
We hope to see everyone out at this year's Pigstock for a guaranteed good time!
